The Powergoats are an Ottawa rock outfit delivering a strong range of musical dynamics and live shows entertaining thousands of people in Ontario and Quebec since they emerged on the scene in 2009. Led by singer-songwriter Jamie Douglas, the sounds of this band have been described as "retro rock pre-soaked in blues, with a hint of folk". Remastered for vinyl by Phil Bova of Bova Sound, their latest release 'The Best of The Powergoats' is the band's first vinyl which compiles eight tracks from their four previous albums along with two brand new tracks 'Brand Spanking Used' and 'Up the Bay'.
